William Isaias has remained a man of the people
There are few more giving people than William Isaias. Together with his brother Roberto, the Isaias brothers always remembered their humble beginnings and ensured that those less fortunate will be looked after.
Whether it was as Executive Vice President of Filanbanco, the largest bank in Ecuador during the 1990s, William would make certain that small business owners who needed a line of credit would receive it. There are so many businesses in Ecuador which are successful because of the help and largesse of the Isaias brothers. This was especially true when so many other banks were unwilling or unable to help.
After fleeing to the U.S. because of political persecution, William would not forget his roots and set up foundations and non-profits to continue helping his fellow Ecuadorians. He also wanted to give back to the country which gave him sanctuary, so he built a foundation offering health services to those in the U.S. most in need.
Whether it is creating donation programs for institutions that take care of children with serious diseases, or those which help maintain and develop new spaces for healthcare as well as institutions that help defend children in situations of abuse, William’s heart continues to be with the people who most need him.
